Class Descriptions

Home is where your mat is.

Whether in person or online, we want to get to know you!
Our guides will have our Zoom calls and studio doors open approximately ten minutes prior to each class, so feel free to join us early and start up a conversation!

  • Learn (Principles)

Yoga is more than just poses. This class invites a deeper subtle unfolding of yoga’s purpose with a focus on alignment and anatomy. Tune into your body’s innate wisdom. This class uses external cues to create internal awareness while honoring your body as the best innate teacher!

  • Move (Vinyāsa)

Delve into the body’s ability for dynamic exploration. The traditional Vinyāsa style links the breath with movement to cultivate stillness of the mind. Through variations and modifications, all practitioners are empowered to create an individualized experience.

  • Ground (Gentle)

Deliberate movement and mindful breath create the opportunity to slow down and tune in to your body, mind, and Spirit. This class is appropriate for all levels of practitioners, from beginners to advanced students looking to relax and turn inward.

  • Pose (Haṭha)

Gift yourSelf the opportunity to return to yoga’s roots through a calming practice of Haṭha yoga. Settle into each posture and invite in moments of silence to reflect inward. This practice is typified by mindful breathwork, static poses, an alignment focus, and a manageable pace. Perfect for practitioners of all levels.

  • Ease (Slow Flow)

This class focuses on a slower flow and restorative movements that allow your body to gently and slowly delve deeper into the posture. Slowing down allows the muscles, joints, and fascia tissue to ultimately gain more mobility. Props help give support to our bodies so we can focus on form allowing them to soften as they are ready. This is a gentle and restorative class intended to help ease tension and soreness we may be carrying in our bodies

  • Release (Yin)

Settle into the flip side of motion! Yin embodies stillness and invites a turning inward so you can peel away stories that limit our authentic Selves. Modifiable static postures are especially beneficial for muscle recovery, and stillness creates space for internal reflection and connection. Create balance, calm the mental chatter, and sooth the physical form.

  • Be (Breathe and Meditate)

Enjoy getting to know your breath! This class invites us to go inward. With gentle movements intertwined with prāṇāyāma, the natural inclination is to soften into a deeper meditative practice.

  • Seat (Chair)

Bring the floor to you and create more space for mobility. This class uses chairs to bring the floor to you and create more space for exploration. Invite a different and lovely perspective of yoga to unfold…just like the chairs!

  • Vibe (Flow and Sound)

Enjoy some movement, breathwork, and sound vibrations to achieve a deeper connection between mind, body, and spirit. After a delicious Vinyāsa flow designed to release tension, relax in an extended śavāsana with healing sound vibrations allowing integration into a new state of wellbeing.

“Yoga is the study of balance, and balance is the
aim of all living creatures: It is our home.”
